I just had to share tonight! :o I spent some time today with this little gem. I sharpened it the other night for the first time since I bought it on ebay, and had it with me all day. I cleaned my fingernails and while attempting to slice off some gorilla glue from my finger I went a little too deep because it was so sharp! It kept bleeding for about an hour. Anyways, this knife is easier to open than my Case stockman which is hard for me not to leave the house without. It really has a smooth operation. My wife shops at Costco, and there are always alot of large boxes that need to be cut down to size to fit in the recycling, and this little knife just went through it like it was butter. Needless to say, all the cardboard fit in the recycling can, I went looking for more to cut up. I tried to share it with my wife, but she does not yet share my enthusiasm for a great tool. :( I had to blog, it was so amazing. This Schrade steel really holds its edge. I kind of knew this already, but I had not put it to the test until tonight. Also, I have to say that the finish is better on the Schrade than most of my Case knives are where the blade spine meets the back spring while in the open position. (Forgive me for not using technical terminology correctly). It goes without saying that I will be acquiring more Schrades in the near future because I sliced my finger open today :D:p:thumbup:

Geez, did I write that?:foot::barf: I blame it on my sinus headache, too much Sudafed and not enough sleep! Sorry for the incoherency here. What I really mean to say is,"I am diggin this little drop point Schrade." It will now be competing with my 6244 Case small stockman for daily use.

Hey CJ, nothing wrong with that review at all, I liked it! There's nothing better than unedited in the field reporting :D

Wives are amazing. They accept us as we are (mostly) View our collectables as "Boys Toys". Listen attentively as we describe the way a knife was made and why we wanted/just had to have another. I wonder what they do know :D
I can attest to this most recently receiving my 1st 50OT Ulster. Waiting for almost 3 years to pick one up, I had acted like it was made of gold.
"She" Smiles knowingly..
Are we as good to them? Take us shopping and we still act as we did at 10. Pouting when were in a store not to out liking. Acting put-out when we have to wait while a decision of a lifetime is made.. Oh I could go on for a while.
Maybe we should act better? (NOT!) ;)

thats funny larry, i guess i have one worth keeping too! she lets me put my wall hanging displays in one area of the livingroom!!!! this coming from a woman who thinks the tv should be behind folding doors! she did draw the line on the 4.5 foot tall floor display----makes me keep it in the shop. i don't know why?;):D-----------------------brady

Thanks guys. I always need to release the knife knut in me somewhere. I am really diggin that little 30 0T. I like the fact that there are an endless Schrade parade of them on ebay to choose from. I will be acquiring more. I am selling other stuff on ebay just for...well you know...more Schrades! I have to support my habit financially. My wife does not know it, but I got her an Al Mar Osprey in MOP for Christmas. I bought my dad an Al Mar cigar cutter, and the guy told me 50% off the next Al Mar, since I cannot shop for myself for Christmas, I had to get her indoctrinated. It is a purdy little dainty sharp thing.....I have to say....I have a great wife! 3rd time (and last time) is a charm!
