Improved for pocket carry anyway. The D stands for Denim . One spring was busted so took it down to one layer, some jeancarta, cleaned the blade up and reground it, It snaps like a champ now and real thin for pocket carry. Nickle pins of course.

Dont know if you heard us talking in a previous thread about making one of these with a bird hook in it. none of us can come up with a good answer to what a bird hook is used for but I thought it would be cool to see a 77ot like this with 1 blade and a hook, just curious, its a beauty by the way. nice work one of my favorite knives there. -Joel

a bid hook is for gutting gamebirds IIRC. the hook is used for reaching up into the chest cavity and hooking the entrials and pulling them out. It is possible to build one, just having the right parts, time and patience
