Schrade 897UH Limited Edition 2016

I have a Schrade Uncle Henry 897UH with "Limited Edition 2016" stamped/etched on the main blade in black. But can't find any reference to it on line. Can anyone contribute to its existance?

Schrade was rather famous for producing undocumented variants.

As a registered user, you can post pictures using a picture hosting site. I use Imgur, but there are others. Once you have uploaded a picture to the hosting site, copy the web address of the picture. Note: picture web addresses must end in .jpg or .gif

Then go to your post and click the image tool on the toolbar next to the smiley tool. Click the link icon in the popup. (Looks like a chain.) Paste the picture address into the window. Then click the INSERT button.

If any help is to be found for this, it will most likely be found in the Schrade Collector's Forum.

Could be from a 3-knife set issued in a tin.

My 1970s 897UH was in my pocket for many years and survived a lot of mistreatment.

Anything made in 2016 which had some reference to the Schrade company in the United States which went bankrupt in 2004 was and is made in communist China. All legitimate Schrade knives are clearly tang-stamped U.S.A.
