schrade auto-pat '09-'10

have searched this forum and couldnt seem to find this knife
on tang:
schrade
cut.co.
walden.n.y.
other side:
u.s. pats.
dec.21.09
sept.13.10
june.6.10

push button auto
(no lock to keep it from opening-sorta scary to carry except in sheath)
scales are missing
otherwise everything else is in good shape
what sorta scales would this knife have had?
would like to add scales
(not for sale but for occassional carry and fondling)
any other info regarding this particular old schrade would be much appreciated

Sounds like you've got one of the larger hunters, either 4 1/4" or 4 7/8"? Both of those had brown jigged bone handles. There are are few folks here who will likely post some pics of theirs.
