schrade barnett knife

new here so I dont understand all knife terminology but i know I love knives. So wondered if anyone knew what time of material the bolsters on this knife was made of and the bone in the handle. Also the locking mechanism, its not those ones you pull the blade out and pussh it back in without pushing a lock or something in is it?
