Greetings, I have searched for a current estimate on the complete collection, same series number. (13 colony plus Stag). Any thing I have found was several years ago. I recently purchased the set at a gun & knife show. I would appreciate an estimate of their current value as a set. Thanks.

Schrade started up in 1904, their Bicentinnial collection may-be out in 2104. It may help if we could see your collection.

American Bicentennial made by Schrade, not Schrade's Bicentennial, I think.

the SCHRADE BICENTENNIAL, Collection, as stated in original post, is a collection of 13 knives representing the original colonies, and 1 lockback stag handle, with engraving 1776-1976 listing the 13 states. Total 14 knives).. I paid $300 for the collection in a display case, series no>2547. I simply wanted the expertise of avid collectors as to it's possible resale value. I am giving this to my wife as a present and trying to gather as much information as possible. No original boxes or paperwork. Appear in good condition.

Thank you very much. Ironic that I have searched several search engines, several hours, and could only find several years back as any kind of estimate, ($400-600). Now one sells on Ebay! LOL! Thank you for the info. Looks Like I paid fair market value at $300. Not quite the investment deal I had anticipated. But5 my wife collects USA Schrade knives, so this should be a nice surprise for her to include in her inventory. In fact, I think she may even have a set in boxes. Thank you Sir for your attention. BTW, I also bought a 50TG in the box with papers. It is green and perfect. I paid $20. Was that a good purchase?

I hope that is not reality. I would think a nice Special Edition, in good shape, would increase in value. Then again, it's not pocket change for a lot of us. Thanks for the input. The seller had the display marked $380. I thought I did good getting the collection for $300. Your a bubble popper! ;0)

Truth be told, "value" is set every time the issue sells, completeness and condition being equal. It is essentially what one person is willing to give for it and another is willing to accept. Generally speaking, knives are poor investments. Collect them for the joy of collecting and ownership. Invest in stocks and bonds.

I figured out how to post pics. What a circle! I updated original post. Thanks for your time. Jerry
