Anyone know if Schrade produced a knife called Black Ice SQ111, a few of them are selling on Ebay as a DU Black Ice but they are actually a DU Viper SQ222 knife with a Black Ice box. I purchased one and it is a genuine USA Schrade but a Viper and not a Black Ice according to what Schrades R US and other articles read. The handles are suppose to be different. Any info. would be great. Thanks, Jamie

I think we had a old thread on these. I just cant remember if anyone actually saw one.

Ken, a brief mention back in 2007.....perhaps they are with the Schrade Jernigan.......existing in name only........2004 desperate days for USA Schrade...Hoo Roo

Add the XT4 to that list. On that one at least we found a few blanks post auction.

The SQ111 Black Ice was a Viper, I have an SQ222 Black Viper in my collection. I have every knife, but two that Schrade listed in their 2003 catalog.
The SQ111 was listed at $64.95. The SQ222 $59.95.
The 2004 price list also lists the SQ598 and SQ598Tat $115 each; I would say they also did not make it to prodution.

The SQ111 in the flyer looks like the “real thing”. I would think, Schrade must have made one SQ111.

If this was truth, that SQ111 would be the Schrade collectable of all times. .. Ken

The 53OT green lockback that sold in 2003, is another Schrade we do not see too often.
