Schrade custom SHD1 knife

Would you say this Taylor made Chinese knife is a direct knockoff of an old Schrade USA D'holder? If you think about it all they have done is reverse the model number HD instead of DH. It is adverized as a 440c blade (Yes another chinese 440c question). I have a friend who bought one. Handled it and it looks good. As a matter of fact it looks just like a D'Holder.

Googling "Schrade custom SHD1 knife" produced some hits, including one from the Taylor Brands web site. I clicked on a dozen or so links, including the one from the Taylor web site. None of the hits I followed up identified the blade alloy.

Even at that, it sure does look like a D'Holder copy.
