Pawn shop rescue for the princely sum of $5
Main blade is still pretty full, snaps open and close like a new knife
The second blade is snapped off at the tang
Tang stamp is Schrade Cut Co over Walden NY, straight not curved
Bone handles are pretty amazing shape, considering the age

That bone is righteous! I'd do that deal all day, nice grab!

Touched the edge up on my Wicked Edge
Those old carbon blades really sharpen up nicely
It's really begging to be carried now, though it's a little big for my daily carry.
Will have to get some yard clean up duty at least

Nice find, ElKabong!
If it feels big, you could have the broken blade and spring removed, to improve the pocketability. You would have a great one-blade!!

Good grab. That jigging pattern would be later than the early 'picked-bone' years, but before the 'peach-seed' years. I would say 1925 to 1935. I personally like the extra thickness in the hand that would be lost if the spring were removed. Just a personal preference. I am not typical, in that I might carry a pistol, a folding hunter, a pocket knife, a handkerchief, wallet, cell phone 2 sets of keys and a rock in my pockets. I never grew up.

Nice looking knife, good warm color on the scales.
Time to buy a pocket knife sheath and put some E.D.C. miles on it.
