Did someone come up with what those numbers meant? I could not find the old thread, nor could I remember. I agree with Roland, it the numbers are a bit perplexing.

Here is a 3 1/8" Senator pattern "Scissors Knife" which is shown on page 37, Cat. E, 1926 as pattern 8456T.

On the pile side Master tang is stamped: 36/250

This would seem to indicate the 36th knife in a run of 250, but i have never seen a Schrade Cut. Co. knife stamped like this. Also this exact pattern is shown in Cat. E, so why a special serialized run ?
It is a nice knife.
