Thought y'all might enjoy this Schrade Safety Push Button. Model 741 I believe...

Buttons work great.
Safeties lock safely.
Springs all do their thing.
Blades appear factory sharp with light use.

She had very light rust spots when I got her. A bit of oil on a bit of soft cloth with a bit of light rubbing... rust gone, patina shows itself.
Surprising how much fun a little knife like this can actually be.

Please enjoy-

I love those things, and they're darn hard to come by. Never seen scales like those, and I believe that's a tobacco ad. Thanks for sharing.

I had one just like that in tortoise shell. It belonged to my grandfather. It was in the wooden box that now houses my collection. I never knew what happened to that knife. Thanks for sharing.

Sweet knife, a true collectible and a classic. Take care of it.

Another example that disproves the "common wisdom" about having to store a switchblade open to preserve the spring.

My pleasure to share. It's not very often I see one let alone get to own one.
Now I need to find another with stag handles:D

Thanks for the memories. When I was a kid (late 50s) every hardware store had a case full of these knives.
