Here is a scan of my latest Schrade Cut Co sheath knife, a 3-7/8" bladed, high polish, thin gauge, 7-5/8" O.A., with hard rubber handle. It corresponds exactly with the HH-6 Hammerbrand shown in that c.1936 catalog.

This is a scan of my Hammerbrand HH-10 from that same catalog.

Other than the fact that the Hammerbrand HH-10 had the Imperial logo added to the handle mold (the Hammerbrand HH-6 did not), it is obvious to me that Kinfolks made this series of knives for both cutleries as well as others during the mid to late 1930's, at a time when they were concentrating their own production on pocket knives.

Proof conclusive to what we've always suspected. Well done. Is it possible to show the font used for Schrade Cut Co as mine are all different.

Not until I can buy a decent camera. Until then, I am stuck with poor scans that won't even pick up a stamp because it isn't flat on the glass of the scanner bed.

Nice! Those guys sure do seem to have been busy with those contract knives! You really don't see a whole lot of those Hammer Brand fixed blades around, or the larger slippies for that matter.
