Hello, I am new here. I recently have gone through some items left to me from my Grandfather. I have a sterling silver double sided switch blade marked Schrade Walden NY. On the other blade is marked..US Patents, Dec 21. 08, Sept 13. 10, June 6.16. Can anyone give me some info on the knifes age and value. Thank you, Chris

I'm not an expert on Switchblades, but the Schrade Walden NY stamping is generally regarded as post 1946 and pre 1950.

These are a couple of older illustrations. Does your knife match either of them? Any chance you could post some pictures?

Hal,
I have one just like your top photo. I tried to take some pictures of it to share with LT, however, the patina on it is very dark and the pictures don't come out very well.
