I am offering this set of Schrade Ducks Unlimited Flyway knives up for sale. This is a 5 knife fixed blade set. The four fixed blade PH1 (8" in length) knives all have a different flyway depicted on them. Additionally, all the knives in this set have the same serial number 078. All of the PH1 knives are tang stamped as follows:
The PH1 Pacific Flyway knife also has wood handles (not sure what kind but it is beautiful). It is represented by Pintails. The pintails are etched with gold inlay.
The PH1 Central Flyway knife has stag handles and is represented by Mallards. The mallards are etched with gold inlay.
The PH1 Atlantic Flyway knife has what appears to be elk antler handles and is represented by Canvasbacks. The canvasbacks are etched with gold inlay.
The main knife in this set is the Bowie knife with stag handles. The blade is black and polished. It is etched with Ducks Unlimited North American Flyways, two flying ducks, and a drawing of North America. All of the above are etched with gold inlay. This knife also has the same serial number of 078. The tang stamp on this knife reads:
The knives come in an oak presentation box with with a reddish lining as seen in the pics. The glass top opens up and has a lock in which to lock the presentation box. The set also comes with 5 purple storage bags in which to store the knives safely. Also includes white handling gloves and a registration certificate from Schrade.
I haven't ever seen another complete set and have rarely seen individual pieces from this set for sale. I believe the number of sets made to be 100.
I am asking $2500 for the set but will consider all reasonable offers. I will accept Paypal or money order. Price includes shipping to your door. I will only ship this set within the US. I figured I would offer this set up first on here and then move it to Ebay if it doesn't sell. For any questions, please feel free to PM me.
