 I was wondering if anyone has or has used the Schrade Extreme Survival knife. I am asking about the special forces one that is grey and made out of one piece of steel. I am looking into getting one and will appreciate any and all feedback.:D

I have one and think it's great. I haven't really used it hard yet, but it's done all I've asked it to and it's held it's edge nicely.

I have one too. I also own a CRK Aviator. I would say the quality of the CRK is better, but both knives perform quite similarly. The Scrade is quite large and heavy though, so be mindful of that if you are going on long, self powered trips.

There was a full review by mistwalker over in the review and testing forum about a year and a half ago.
If you will ignore the personality conflicts you will get a good sense of the knife.

Mistwalker spends a lot of time outdoors. He used the knife for a number standard outdoors survival tasks and it did well. If he likes it, then that is good enough for me.
Here's the thread.
