Here's my grandfather's fish filet knife, made by the old Imperial Schrade. It's got quite a good handle and provides a secure grip. The blade is thin and flexible. I finally got around to sharpening it up today.
I always liked the looks of the handles (oak, I think) on those; looks like it'd be very comfortable in-hand. I eyeballed some of them on the 'auction site' for a long time, but never bought one.
The handles really look oversized (they're thick as well), but it's very comfortable to hold. The half inch or so of serrations are nice for your first cut, I've found. It's just enough to give you a bite through the skin.
Taylor Brands owns the Schrade name now (the 'real' Schrade closed in 2004, I believe). So it would make sense that they'd likely have ownership of the pattern.
