I am brand new to bladeforum.com and the site was recommended to me by a fellow knife enthusiast. I recently made a trade for a Schrade single blade trapper, and wanted to see if I could get some information on it from more knowledgable folks. The knife is a single blade trapper liner lock with brass liners and a brass lock. It has what appears to be ivorite or ivory scales, engraved on one side with a bass chasing some minnows and the other with a scroll suitable for initials like scrimshaw .. The tangstamp says "Schrade" and under that "USA1940T" and the knife is serialized with the number "1092" engraved on the bolster.
