I have a 1/2" scar on the middle of my left hand from that very knife you posted. I was a wee lad and bought it at the local hardware store. Somehow I got it tangled with the sheath when putting it away and it sliced clean through the sheath (which we later found was not sewn on one side) and stabbed into my palm. I almost lost use of my left middle finger from that.

Needless to say, my mother returned the knife and I haven't held one since. I kind of wish I still had it for memories sake, as it is (luckily) my only real "wound" I've recieved from my love of knives.
