My grandfather has been gone now for maybe 4 years now and every now and then we find stuff that he had kept put up that we didn't know he had. We just found a 33ot still in the original packaging with the foam insert and the paperwork. Looks like it has been used but it looks like he put it away when he knew when things got worse that he wouldn't be using it. It seems to be one of the older OT's, the tang says new york on it....any idea on dating it? Anyways here is a pic of it.

Guys, this oughta be a slam dunk for us. Didn't we just discuss Schrade packaging? Here is a photo of a 'Grand dads' barlow -206 pattern- with nice faux bone handles, in the same type box. It does not have the old foam to cradle the knife, but the blue flocked cardboard. The paperwork with this knife if kinda confusing... It has 'Schrade Cutlery' on the box, the loss certificate has 'Schrade Walden Cutlery' on it. Hard to know if the paperwork is original, though. The blade marking is 'Schrade, USA 206'. I had thought this was from the mid 1970s. I have one other just like this that was given to someone as a gift, and the date custom inscribed is Christmas, 1977, along with the person's name. Any other thoughts on what are now two knives in question?
