Schrade Half Congress
Information pulled together from this forum and the Schrade Collectors R Us website. It was all together from trying to research my new knife so figured it would make a fun post.
Catalog snipits source:

Thank you to anyone involved in this amazing archive! I've been having a blast going through this information.
According to a post on this forum made by Tim Faust in 2001 (product manager of Schrade at the time) and a few he didn't list from the catalogs linked above, these are the half congress knives produced over the years by Schrade.

The red numbers are the catalog dates.
7753 & 7753ss made from ?? Untill 1926

7743 from 1926-46
3" Bone stag.
7746 M.O.P.

7763 1928
Big boy. 3 7/8" bone stag

7744m and 7744K from 1928
A sweeeet 3" knife with "marine pearl" covers for M suffix and "brown lined cream pyralin" covers for the K suffix.

7749gs 1938
3" "genuine stag" I don't know what genuine stag actually is.

71073 Found in the 1940 catalog.
3 1/4" bone stag

Then we have the Schrade Walden 773 (1953-57 @ 3.5").

Sw 774 (1947-67 @ 3"). Last of the pattern. Made it solo for a decade after it's larger counterpart (773) was discontinued. It looks like the 774 went to stagalon sometimes around 1965.

The four bladed 3" congress (974) lasted until 1975... Then it's absolutely congressless till Taylor Schrade released the 4ot, 4uh and imperial Congress knives. There were no half congress in any of these that I can find! Last half congress is in the 1967 catalog!
If you like these catalogs as much as I do, please thank that group of collectors and let me know how to do it as well! They have made them available to all, for free!
Please share Schrade Half Congress knives! I hope to eventually find (or probably just see) real life examples of these catalog entries. Fun fun.
