I thought we could start a new topic that shows Schrade items, other than knives!
I know Schrade made knives for 100 years, What other items did they make ?

If you have any tools ect. ...how about posting a picture or two. Ken;)

Have an Imperial belt buckle to go with my Frontiers.

What about the tools and kitchen gadgets Irv? Remember "Pinkey"? :D

Pinkey is a pink Imperial Peel King electric knife/vegetable peeler with "body massager" attachments from the 1950's.

I use my needlenose vise-grip Schrade pliars almost daily, as well as my Chrome Vanadium Sears kitchen knives from the 1940's and Veri-Sharp paring knife and stainless "Granny Spoon". My flatware is Imperial International Stainless, and I have a Schrade tape measure and a couple of penlights. Kitchen gadgets were big items for Imperial for quite some time. Schrade got into tools in the '90's thru closing in '04.

Forget Pinkey? Never! Funny item no doubt. I want one!

I went camping/fishing for a few nights last week and I had cached a tarp, a fishing rod, reel and tackle last fall so I wouldn't have to pack it in this spring. Sure enough it was right where I left it.

I had brought along my ST1 and ST2 Tough Tools and used them to totally disassemble and reassemble the reel to dry it out and re-oil it. They worked like a charm! The reel is again smooth-as-silk and over 5 days I caught many rainbow trout. Biggest this trip was only about sixteen inches but that's still a pretty nice fish. Forget the new expensive multi-tools. Grab a cheap used USA ST1 and don't look back!

Michael - Pinky is Da Bomb!! Nothing like it ev-ah!

Dave - I believe I'll take you up on your advice on the ST tools.
So far, any gotchas, weak points of failure or issues to watch out for when picking an ST1 or ST2 item to bid on?
Only a 16" Rainbow? Nice One!!

Kicking myself for not bidding on an iQuip that went by the other day for $.99 + $10 shipping http://cgi.ebay.com/Schrade-i-Quip-/200614032167

Thanks -- Howie

Howie..that seller of the I Quip likely paid about $100 to $200 for it if he bought it new as he states...what a bargain if its genuine USA Schrade.....you know who from you know where is not now making them as well is he?....if he is, it likely went for its true value....I've got both Units as well.....Hoo Roo
