I've been lusting for one of these for a while and just got one on eBay for a great price.

I figured while I wait for it I'd see if anyone has had one or played with one and what you thought.

I was thinking of going with one of the Marbles slippies because I didn't want to spend so much on the Kious but fate stepped in and I'm a sucker for a hot looking knife!

Should be here today, I'll let you all know how it looks.

I'm a little surprised this knife has not gotten more attention, sure it's a bit pricey but not as pricey as 99% of the customs out there, especially with Mike Norris Damascus.

Luckily it's somewhat underwhelming sales is probably what enabled me to buy it at such a good price.

I've had several custom slip joints and many factory slip joints so I should have a decent basis for comparison.
 
Thanks CP. I am sure I am not the only one who would be interested in the results of your comparisons. From what I know of the Schrade collabs. (mainly the Barnett ones since Van is a friend), they are doing a good job working with the makers, so I expect that you will be quite happy.
