it says their out of production so i'm guessing no business means no website...

I case you didn't know, Schrade went out of business in 2004, and the brand was bought by Taylor Brands. Consequently, Schrade knives are now manufactured in China for Taylor.

The knives made in China, eg. the Pro Hunter PH-1, is it still made from 154CM or it it crappy 420 steel?

Most US-made Schrades were produced with carbon steel, not 154CM.
But yes, now they're made with no-name stainless (or maybe it's got a name... 420j2???).
