Schrade L&W2, reviews, opinions, thoughts?

I was wondering if anyone could give me any information on the Schrade LW2 Lake and Walker knife, on how it performs, if you like it or not, and so on. I would also appreciate replies directly concerning this knife, not about alternatives, or the LW1 in BG-42 steel even though it is superior.

I owned a Schrade L&W2 for 2 weeks. It had considerable horizontal and vertical blade play and the locked failed miserably, almost closed on my fingers. Took it back to Wal-Mart for a refund.:( I would steer clear of it.
 
Schrade makes a heck of a knife when it comes to traditional patterns like slip joints and folding hunter patterns. However their attempts at more "modern" knives have been dismal failures. The clip-hanger was pathetic. I examined a Lake/Walker at Wal-Mart recently as its a nice looking knife. It was quite obvious that they have yet another failure in it. The fit and finish was poor, the lock may as well have not even been there. For that price range, check out Outdoor Edge or CRKT..
