Hi Schrade Collectors. A friend was over yesterday and noticed I had an LB 7 Schrade with a Dropped point blade. He said it was rare, very rare. I never thought too much about it, I just liked it. How rare? Any real value to it?
Thx.

Can't say as I've ever seen one myself, can you post a picture?

Thank you gentlemen. That is all interesting, informative. Mine has the maple wood handle. No etch or NAHC shield.
Any guess on value of the knife?
Tom

There are a lot of them out there.I have one with the maple burl wood.I always thought it was a great idea. With the depressed market of today, maybe $50.00-$70.00.Just a guess.

Piglicksticker---- Actually, that was the answer I wanted to read! This is too cool a knife to sit in a safe. A real user, perfect for deer gutting.
Thx

I have (2) of the LB7DP knives.......

Mine both have the:

Uncle Henry
Schrade +
LB7DP U.S.A.

Tang Stamp and 440 Stainless imprinted on the blade

Brass bolsters, Rosewood ? covers. Three pin

There is drop point LB7 100th year anniversary Schrade in ebay store for $199I saw it a few days ago, thats about as rare as it gets. i would have purchased it myself except exchange rate here in Australia meant it would have cost me close to $300.
Regards Tim

Well,Actually id have to admit mine are pristine and on display. Also, value will only go up on these in the future. But i wouldn't discourage careful and proper use of the knife. The drop point blade makes a terrific skinner.

Here are mine.
