Schrade LB7 dropped point?

Hi Schrade Collectors. A friend was over yesterday and noticed I had an LB 7 Schrade with a Dropped point blade. He said it was rare, very rare. I never thought too much about it, I just liked it. How rare? Any real value to it?

Here is a link to another thread, the drop point LB7's were made for the NAHC North American Hunting Club, maybe others also, some were sold around 2005 without the etch which were probably overuns from the NAHC release.

Thank you gentlemen. That is all interesting, informative. Mine has the maple wood handle. No etch or NAHC shield.
Any guess on value of the knife?

There are a lot of them out there.I have one with the maple burl wood.I always thought it was a great idea.With the depressed market of today,maybe $50.00-$70.00.Just a guess.

I have (2) of the LB7DP knives.......

Mine both have the:

Tang Stamp and 440 Stainless imprinted on the blade

There is drop point LB7 100th year anniversary Schrade in ebay store for $199I saw it a few days ago, thats about as rare as it gets. i would have purchased it myself except exchange rate here in Australia meant it would have cost me close to $300.

Well,Actually id have to admit mine are pristine and on display.Also,value will only go up on these in the future.But i wouldn't discourage careful and proper use of the knife.The drop point blade makes a terrific skinner.
