I have this bad habit of buying big Schrade lockbacks. 60T's 70T's LB7's. And then I sit and read the posts on this forum. Quess this makes me like you guys, Schrade crazy!! Anyway the last LB7 I bought is NIB wlth papers and sheath has no evidence of ever being used. But, on one side of the bolsters there are some marks. Almost looks like the knife was dropped on a rough surface and the bolsters were dinged up. But looking closer they are not dinged. It looks like there is a coating (like clear coat) that has broken down.
Question is do Uncle Henry LB7's have a clear coat on the bolster?? I notice the finish is more shiny and does not have the brushed look of the 70T bolsters.
