I have had this knife that was given to me by a great uncle for about 5 years now. I was using it trout fishing yesterday and started to think damn this is a good knife. I have never really researched it and would like to know a little history of it, obviously it is old. It says SCHRADE+ USA LB7 on the blade and has a serial number of 162730. It has 4 pins. I am impressed with the weight and how well the opening/closing action still works on the knife, especially compared to any other knife I have ever owned. I am not a knife expert but would like a know a little about the reputation of these knifes and when the knife was made. Not interested in price I think its worth more to me unless its worth thousands which I highly doubt(but would be a nice surprise)

That's the knife that got me hooked on collecting Schrade. They made a zillion different variations of that knife but yours is the classic "Ultimate Lockback". Welcome to the Schrade forum!
