Schrade LB7....

I've been using an old Schrade LB7 for a few weeks now and have to admit I prefer the feel to it over my Buck 110. The 110 is a more refined knife, but I like the heft and feel in hand of the Schrade better. I may have to buy another with the beefier lock. For general yard work it is now my "go to"...I'll still be taking my 110 along for hunting, but the Schrade may be my camp/yard knife. Very impressed with this old knife.

look at the 7OT or 6OT also. they are a nice knife that is not as heavy as the LB7. the LB7 is my EDC which i have carried since 1978. course the one i have now is not the original one i started with.

Will do. I like the weight of the LB7. I carry a buck 501 as my EDC, it is less scary for the knife haters.
