Years ago (probably 15 or so), when I was first getting interested in knives, I thought this schrade 6OT was really cool, and somehow convinced my Mom to get it for my Dad as a birthday gift. (I was still pretty young at the time, so still 'buying' gifts for people with parents' money). He carried it for a little while, until he was told the blade was over the allowed limit, so it ended up sitting around unused since then. My Mom and I have looked for it on occasion over the last couple years, but with no luck. She finally found it a few months ago, but then ended up putting it somewhere before giving it to me, and forgot where she put it. She found it again a few days ago, and as of yesterday is in my possession. :) Somehow, I was thinking it was more like the other one I have (found at a collectibles store for $5), but find that I actually prefer the look of the delrin (I generally prefer wood or bone to delrin), single bolster, definitely the lighter weight, perhaps even the lanyard hole.

A few potato pics.

It's nice to find an old friend!! Wish I could find my SAK Camper from when I was in boy scouts.

I do that all the time: put something somewhere safe, yet obvious, so I'll see it even if I don't remember to look for it. I'd still like to know what happened to my Camillus double lock-back large trapper.

That's a great knife; an old treasure that's still practically new.

That's the best when you finally find a knife you've been looking for! Great knife by the way, I myself am a fan of a single bolsters.
