Some knives generate unbelievable discussions on these forums; other knives do not.
The Schrade – D’holder was designed by one of the best knife makers in the USA.
The Schrade Lake & Walker is another collaboration knife made for the year 2000, millennium.
However, there is very little interest shown towards these knives, WHY. KG.

G'day Ken, If you search in this forum history you will see I have previously posted considerable info/photos on both these collaborations...in fact I posted photos of all the Schrade collaborations together in one photo which may be unique as it may be the only time they have ever been posted/photographed together...and posted on a forum...
I guess its a matter of how often we should continue to discuss them unless new info comes to light......
They are all displayed in addition on my corner on Larry V's site, Collectors of Schrades R Us...
The Lake and Walker is a well designed knife as you would expect from these two quality knife designers but for some reason never seem to gain the recognition they deserved..Hoo Roo

Hi Old Mate, I know quite well you like collaboration knives. The D'holder knives sell for thousands of dollars. However, the Schrade D'holder knives do not.
The Schrade-Loveless knives that sold for $100 in the 1970s have some following. However, even they sell for low prices.
Again, any knife made by Loveless himself would also sell for thousands of dollars.
You still have not sent me your new phone number, are you back in Victoria yet....Ken

Here are mine Ken. Not first production run on the D holder but real nice stag. Both these guys designed knives where form follows function. To pretty to use but real practical designs. They feel like they should be cutting stuff, not wall hangers.
