I saw the other day at the flea market a Schrade classic SAK style knife. It was andonized scales, with Schrade+ steel, and was made as a promotional item for Texaco oil. I've never seen a schrade like that, did they make other SAK styles too?

Once in a while I would see Schrade knives with red handles and a scout knife layout, or, like your's, a small classic keychain size SAK type of thing. But it was the great minority of their product. Schrade did make outright scout knives way back, and they were very nice pieces.

It's like Schrade would test the water now and then, as if thinking of venturing out.

Interesting, I haven't seen such a thing anywhere on the forums or in person, but I certainly wouldn't mind having one. They probably cost a good bit with all the collectors though.

Thanks,
Connor
