Schrade N.Y. USA 33OT....

Inherited recently from late Father-in-Law. It was his every day carry . I
will take care of this little piece of history and pass on to one of my boys.
Not especially valuable but worthy of respect.

Charles, you are incorrect about its current value....it’s worth more to your family than anyone could know. Definitely worthy of carrying, using and then passing on:thumbsup::thumbsup:

The 33 is a favorite of mine. I just bought another one today. Very pocketable. Big enough to do most things a pocket knife is required to do.
The one you inherited looks to be in very good condition. Enjoy it

Great knife, gotta love the middleman jack.
I have one from my dad that my grandfather sent him from Christmas one year while he was off in the army, I'd probably like it even more if he had actually carried it but I'm sure it wouldn't probably be worn out in that case.
They're not typically a valuable knife, but it's priceless to me.

Thank you all for the positive commentary and insights. The sentimental appeal
of this Old Timer to my bride is off the scale. As she already has pursed a few EDC's
and an inherent fear of possibly losing "Dad's knife" ... I'm pretty sure this will end
up in her sewing room display case. I cleaned and lubed ... gave it a minor polish.
She digs the carbon steel patina just the way it is.
I have a 61OT for EDC.... I failed to accurately gauge the sentimental value of 33OT...
Bride took it from me as soon as I finished the tune-up ! I got the mal de ojo when
I jokingly asked if she was going to "flip it".
