Hi all. Need some help. Was getting all gear ready for tornado season and noticed my boyfreind left his navitool behind. Trouble is I dont know how to unlock the blades..lol I opened it and now I am stuck. If anyone can help I would really appreciate it

Thanks :)

Hey there,

I believe that if you push down on the closed blades, then that will enable you to close the open ones...

Don't forget to put a new butane lighter into the secret compartment. You do know about the secret compartment, right?

If anyone else had said this, I would be very scared...(and strangely intrigued at the same time) :p

Glad I could help...I may be the only person who owns one of these and actually likes it. (Other present schrade-philes excluded, of course)

It's a neat little tool. I bought a few when they were selling on Ebay for $6.. Gave a few to kids, they loved them. I kept one, it's in my truck in my little woods walk-around bag.

Schrade also sold the I-quip. Or one could send a hundred bucks in for the Iquip computer part to upgrade the Navitool. NIce if you were climbing a mountain, as you could watch the altimeter.. and if you fell, the thing would compute for you your rate of descent.

And interesting little thing. But, like the 4x4, the Badger, the ClipHanger, on and on, was not enough to help Schrade out.
