Can anyone tell me if the "Little Finger" is still being made? It is a 2 & 3/4 inch fixed blade and the model # designation is 1560.
I have one that I bought many years ago and would like to find a another new one if possible.:)

Your right it was a dandy skinner and all around knife. I believe that it is no longer in there line. The answer is as usual either Ebay or yard sales etc. I enclosed a picture just in case someone was unfamiliar with this model or might be able to help you out getting one. LT

lt632ret, thanks for the reply about the little finger. It is certainly a great little knife that I would love to see back in production.
Do you know what steel was used for the little finger?
Thanks,
woodsltc

I have one in my hot little hand and I dont think they are made anymore.

I would really like to find a sheath for one.

Well you are right the 154 OT drop point skinner is not presently made. However if all you need is a sheath they recently made a ltd edition of the same knife under the UH line ( see attached pic). The only difference is these have a GUT HOOK. I am not going to get into all the Model numbers involved suffice it to say the sheath is the same. So if you contact ( Mailing Address:

the chances are you can get a new one. They might even send it for free they are pretty nice people. I hope this helps LT

It632ret,

It seems to me that it´s not the same sheath, the knife you show here is larger, I believe that last knife came out as a drop point version of the "Sharp Finger", not the same as the "Little Finger".

If you check the original threads of this listing the original knife in question was a model 156OT in which case you would be correct. ( see attached pic ) However if you check the message that I answered regarding needing a sheath was for a 154OT this knife will fit the limited edition model sheath. (see attached pic). This top pic is from the 82-winter 83-spring Schrade Almanac a newspaper type publication by Schrade for employees and some customers. The OT version of the guthook model was a 158OT. (This is the same pattern as the ltd edition model). The 154OT and 158OT as well as the limited ed that I sent a picture of all use the same sheath. The 156OT ( which was the original knife uses a different sheath of which I have included a picture.

This is why I did not want to get into the model numbers. However since we have this should explain it.

In conclusion if the writer is looking for a sheath for a 154OT then the one I suggested at Schrade will fit. If indeed he is looking for a sheath for a 156OT then no it is the wrong sheath. However I would still check with Schrade ( you never know. ) LT NOTE please check the next reply I could not get the pictures I refer to in this posting for some reason. The pics are in the next reply on this subject

This would not let me post a picture on the previous reply so here are the pictures I referred to in it. LT

lt632ret,

You are right, I was in a hurry and didn´t check the model numbers, I wish I had one of each of those.
