I bought this knife on Ebay, the seller states that it is a Schrade made SEARS Craftsman, but admits the sheath is not original. Looking at the picture and at knives I already own, and comparing the bolsters and pins, I believe it is actually a Camillus Craftsman contract???

Camillus or Schrade?

Thanks Lobo, that comparision pic' is worth it's weight in gold. Sure looks like my Camillus ones, should be here in a few days and I can hold htem side by side to be sure.

The Camillus knives are good knives too. The profile is slightly different than the Schrade, and some people prefer the slightly slimmer feel. Camillus being now closed after well over one hundred years in the American cutlery business, their knives are slated to become the next hot collectables, IMHO. Since Baer eventually owned both companies, I personally include Camillus in the legacy of Kingston, Ulster, Schrade, and Imperial. You should not be dissapointed in your acquisition of a Camillus misidentified as a Schrade. Soon, I believe we will see more and more Schrades misidentified as Camillus knives. Congrats on your purchase! DId the seller happen to post the Sears item number?
