schrade paratrooper knife

I've been looking around for a schrade paratrooper knife,but I didint want to get into too big of a hurry. From what I've read in a previous thread the schrade-walden paratrooper was made from 1947 to 1973. was that it or was there a variation in model and years produced? They seem to be somewhat of contraband on e-bay As some of them seem to get pulled with a day or 2 to go. Is there a better place to look? I dont need one that is completly mint Im just interested in finding one and getting it for a desent price,so what is a desent price and is there just the one model? I have a camillus and a colonial paratooper that would look much better with a schrade out in front of them. thanks joel
