schrade pearl harbor knife set

As asked here are some photos of my WW2 set now that I was able to find the last one in set.
It is very difficult to show the details of the blade etch in a photo the way Schrade displayed them in their timber box. So here they are lined up together, it is rare to see all them displayed together in one photo as this.

The Pearl Harbour Bowie Below was the centre Peice of the set. Please forgive my earlier post as I am now am uncertain what the whole set retailed for from Schrade but it was quite High, if anyone knows I would be interested.

The Pearl harbour Bowie appears slightly longer in bottom pic.

Work on the samples began in late 1990 and according to a January 1991 New Product Information sheet, there were to be 500 sets made with a suggested retail of $2,500. There were to also be an additional 1,000 of the Pearl Harbor Bowies made with a suggested retail of $900.

Michael,

That is one absolute magnificent set. Love it. Oh man, you made my day. I may have to try assemble myself a set of those. Man, they are gems.

Thank you for sharing it.

Cjc, welcome to the forum!!!! It's always great to hear from folks who had family involved with Schrade. What kind of jobs did your uncle hold during that incredible span?

PS- Jackie, you've really got the fever buddy, I don't even think a daily dose of Schrades will cure it :D:D

Eric,

Yeah, I do but the bad thing is that Schrade-Walden fixed blades are my second love in knives. You don't want to know about my Case fixed blades from Bradford to modern. Not to say anything about the folders. Just this past couple weeks a Bradford, a Tested and a couple XX eras. Plus, I have a weakness for their exotic folders. But, the Schrade-Waldens are right up there.

Did I mention the misc pre-1970 fixed blades. I'm just knife poor.
