I have a set of Schrade knives that has six knives in it. It has 1 George Washington, 1 Andrew Jackson, 1 Abe Lincoln, 2 Thomas Jefferson, and 1 Teddy Roosevelt. They all have a number 0679 on each knife. I would like to know when they were made and how much they are worth. Five of the knives are in a display box. I have had these knives since the mid 1980s.

All of my handle material is the same. It is yellow in color. Washington is standing, Jackson is on a horse, Lincoln is standing with a hat on, Jefferson is standing and Roosevelt is on a horse with a sword in his hand. The number on Washington blade is SC507, Jackson is SC504, Lincoln is SC506, Jackson is SC500 and Roosevelt is SC535. All of these knives have the name of the president on the blade and the years he was in office.

AG Russell was selling a lot of them as of last month on his used knife page.
I think he picked them up as an estate sale.
The brochure that AMEX came up with to sell the knives is a piece of art onto itself. The knives are all large and very well done. Wish I had me some!
I think I have it on my web page if not I'll put it up asap.
THe link supplied below also has some great pictures.

Hey DB,
That last two sets I saw sold on Ebay for $202 and $425. Quite the wild valuation fluctuation! I guess it depends on how much the bidders at the time want them. Really nice set though.

I am still looking for a book or a better way to get the price of my shrade knive. I purchased these knives in the mid 1980's and thought I got a bargain when I purchased them. I paid 500 dollars then. I thought they would increase over time. I see Schrade knives selling on Ebay for a lower price than they were a few year ago and I do not understand why.
