Lucked out with a good shape Schrade Pruner at an antique barn. I'll clean this up for a friend who gardens. I just ran it on the kitchen steel a bit and it sharpened nicely! Quite a surprise, it must have been put away sharp. Thought I had taken a better picture of the mark.

I'm a sucker for Pruners and you found a nice one:cool::thumbup: Such a solid workhorse:thumbup:

Got her smoothed up this evening, cleaned out the sludge, Ballistol'd the hinge, metal bits, steel-wool'd and waxed the wood. She's good to go!:thumbup:

I've been hoping to find one of these for myself, but lord knows I have enough knives, so I'm happy to have found one for someone who will put it back into service. For me, spending time gardening would mean spending time NOT making knives!
