Schrade sc705?

Hi,

I have an Uncle Henry LB8, however the blade has Schrade + USA SC705. Was there ever an sc705? I'm thinking it was probably a mis-stamped blade that should have been sc507. In case you ask- this LB8 Uncle Henry imt stag handle has 3 rivets and what I've seen on the smooth Ivory color sc507 have been four rivets which tells me sc507 blades came in later then the LB8.

Look in the search feature for SC705.It sounds like you may have a parts knife.Could you get a picture?I have two of the SC705's.Both were advertised on Ebay as one of a kind mistakes in stamping.Arnold
 
Sorry, I don't understand the set up as to including the picture??? I can tell you that the blade and knife is identical to the other lb8 that I purchased in the early 80's. This knife is in mint condition, not even a scratch on the brass bolsters, if I understand correctly a parts knife would show signs of being worked on. The only difference is that my old lb8 has a serial number, this sc705 uh does not. TMO
