LB7 - 858OT - SCM5 - 5OT - LB3

How about some more Schrade sheaths and the knife that goes with them. Lots of sizes, colors and variations.

Say "Schrade Sheath Thread" five times after you post.

Very nice, thawk. Will get out the camera this weekend and post what I have. I will not come close to the center one.

After checking I have 4 LB7s and only one sheath, so they must share. Actually two have very worn blades and are not very useful.

G'day Edbeau, you've got 2 of the earlier 4 pin LB7's there....what are their bolster serial numbers?.....Hoo Roo

Larry303, The 4 pin (Schrade +) are 236486 and B77044 and 3 pin (Uncle Henry) on the left is AX35997.

My LB8 has a black sheath and brown box. I have a 4 pin LB7 with a black sheath and white box. And a 3 pin LB7 w/ brown sheath and "sharp idea box". I have not seen any black sheath uncle Henry's in sharp idea boxes so I think the black sheath was discontinued before the 90's. Sometimes I'll see an auction with mismatched knives and boxes such as a signature series 3 pin uncle Henry LB7 with a white box and I can say to myself that I know that knife originally came in a "sharp idea box". Ah, ha!

Never noticed this the first time around!! Good thread!

Nice looking knives JW!! I'm liking the first Moby Dick 152, unusual sheath too!

Thanks for the comment on the 171's Dave. One of my favorites of the collection.

All nice shanks.

From what I've been able to gather, my LB8 is a early '80's version, s.n. 71699...the knife is fine, as nice as they come, but the sheath that came in the white box with it, has "Old-Timer" stamped on the flap, instead of the usually seen "Schrade"...also, the part that slips onto your belt, is not sewn on, but rather bolted ( I guess would be the way to say it, with 3 of those 6-leaf metal pieces)...shows no sign of coming apart or loose, after 30-plus years... Hope this info helps...
