Greetings,
Back in 1984 I bought a Silver Anniversary old-timer. There are two numbers on the box. 34SA and 3162. The knife is a special edition of the 340T Stockman, three blade. It has sterling silver bolsters and antique bone handle. I have number 3162 of 5000.

I've been unable to find any information on this knife online. I am curious about its value today. It is in new, unused condition with both boxes, papers sleeve.

Any info appreciated.

Howdy,

Does the knife look like this one?

That site is a result of much great work by one of the mainstays here (lrv) and lots of contributions from all the folks who frequent this forum.

As you mentioned, there were 5,000 of those produced, and one book I checked puts the approximate value at $55.00...but most folks would say eBay auctions for that knife are probably the most accurate figure for value.
