I'm looking for some info on this knife, has anyone bought one and carried it for a while. I would like to pick one up at walmart tomorrow if they are any good, not that I'm expecting much for $15 except for another keychain trinkit.

It ain't my bag.

But in my readings I came across info about the Crkt Kiss and most said it is too flimsy and closes too easy. It also has a chisel ground blade and many don't like that.

Handle it and see how you like it.

In a similar size package handle a Kershaw Chive. It is a pretty cool little toy of a knife. But QUITE sharp!!!!

What about the Spyderco Jester? I just picked one up with the full SpyderEdge, this past weekend, and it's the best keychain knife that I've ever owned(EXCELLENT grip). Prices may vary where you are, but I only paid $20 for mine.:D

For more info, check it out at www.spyderco.com

I'd like the frame to be heavier. The lock comes undone pretty easy. I think it's a good knife for common cutting tasks (string, tape, mail). What can you expect for $15.

I've checked out several Schrade Simons. They are neat looking, but the construction is too flimsy. There was way too much bladeplay on all the models I checked out and the very thin "framelock" is prone to easy disengagement. If Schrade would thicken the lock bar a bit and add a slightly thicker washer between the blade and the frame, this would get rid of the blade wobble and strengthen the lockup. They are interesting gadgets, but I would choose the CRKT KISS-SST or even the CRKT PECK over the Simon.

While at WalMart check out the Gerber Skeleton, its far superior (even with the inherent flaws) to the Schrade and CRKT. Better lock-up and tighter fit when closed.

dood, this knife beats my sebenza hands down, better steel, better lockup, in fact i'm thinking of selling my sebenza just to get a couple more of these.

Just kidding :p :D :p

I have no experience with this knife. :p

I guess it fits it's intended niche. I've got it clipped to the zipper of the photographer's vest I wear all the time. Then, in winter, it'll go on the coat zipper. Not a great knife, but neat.

Great for the little things. Comes in handy on that zipper though.

I have to agree with most of what others have said before. For about two months I've had one clipped to my car keychain. It's a light duty folder with a clever clip. Mine is showing some surface rust so I guess it's time for some Militec-1. If you want someting similar look at a CKRT K.I.S.S.
If you are looking for something small that cuts and is cool, I would get a Spyderco Jester. I have one of the Micarta ones on my other keychain. Great little knife!

I work part time in sporting goods at the local Wal-Mart and I started to buy one but the three we had just sorta fell apart in my hands! The blade guard just falls off with the least amount of pressure. The Gerber is a much better deal for a few dollars more.
