Schrade Stockman deadly weapon?

It was such a nice day that my daughter and I played hooky to go to the park. My daughter ended up running into one of her friends from class so I actually had time to sit and relax and do a little whittling. I guess my Stockman is a little to scary looking because someone ended up calling the cops on me. After the police officer showed up and saw my dangerous looking knife we both had a good laugh about it and he even apologized to me saying that they get these calls all the time and they have to respond. This world is getting just a little to ridiculous for me.
 
What really gets me is how unmenacing I looked today, I'm dressed in khakis and a button up shirt and I'm with my five year old daughter. Look out I'm probably going to go on a rampage any minute now.

I see you are from Virginia. I'm from there as well.

I would have expected this kind of behavior in NYC or chicago or something, but to have it happen so close to home is a bit unnerving.

Good thing the cop had common sense. :thumbup:
 
Pathetic. At least you didn't get shot and killed by a LEO in public like a woodcarver here did. He was holding a closed 3" folder.

Saddening , I can't believe that this took place in VA of all places I could maybe see it happening in NYC or DC possibly but not in the real United States.
 
Yeah...I bet the "concerned" citizen had to get on his/her cell phone in the car on the drive out of there right away, to text or blab about their harrowing escape from death, at the hands of a dangerious individual.
 
See now I am from Texas and that is the stupidest thing I have ever heard, I open all my large tactical knives in public and fiddle with them in church and no one gives it a second look

what is America coming too?

This is General Knife Discussion, not CNN or Fox News. You might want to reread my post, I stated no opinion aside from keeping the thread on point. What are you contributing again?
