At the show today I found a new schrade blue derlin copenhagen knife for sale. I got it for $8. :D I've wanted one of these for a while and couldn't believe when I saw it. I also got a ka-bar warthog darn cheap as a guy is moving and selling his personal collection off.

Hi Ash! Nice Schrade :) Do you know, if the serrations on the sheepfoot are there regularly or has someone maden them there?

Congratz on both knives :)

Kind regards
Andi

BTW: I tasted Cope already, though here in Germany this way of tobacco using is completely unknown... Wasn´t my taste!

Humppa, the serrations are factory.

I like that knife very much. Never seen the jack patter with a serrated sheepsfoot secondary before.

Outstanding pattern. Congrats on the find!

Very nice score! Can you tell me the handle size, or is it comparable in size to the Buck 301 Stockman? I've never seen that combo before...

Looks like the 3 5/16" frame. Same as a 34OT Old Timer. Great find Ashley!

COPE33 - Black Sawcut Delrin handle, brass bolsters, special scalloped high carbon sheepfoot blade with can opening tip, "Copenhagen Snuff" etched high carbon clip blade, antiqued brass copenhagen shield, Schrade/Cope USA tangstamp COPE33, Ship Start Jan. 1995 - 100,000 pcs.

She helped cut up an apple today. Cleaned right after but it left a spot or 2 patina.

Nice snag.Good guy and big spender as i am,id be willing to double your money! ( : Im not a big fan of serrations, but on a 2 or 3 blade folder it can be pretty handy.

I always wondered why they are called copenhagens?

Copenhagen is a popular smokeless tobacco sold in the US. MOF the crossover between guys who carry knives and dip Cope or Skoal is pretty high. I myself have been known to take a chew now and then. :p

I remember the series but can't remember the time frame, it's been a while. Anyway I always thought the saw was more of a snuff tin opener than a true saw... at least the teeth resemble the teeth on the old snuff opening contraptions they used to hang on the walls of the stores back home.

Very nice find Ash.
Finding people selling things for good prices is kinda my thing....
You stole my thing! Lol.
Anyways, have you checked out local Pawn Shops?
You can usually find a cool find or two.

My two latest cool finds:
Kershaw Leek with old serrations in near new condition only missing the safety and being somewhat off center when tightened up for $10.
Victorinox Used Silver Alox old Cross Electrician for $10. Hell of a find in my opinion. It's used and worn some, but it's in perfect working condition, looks awesome, blades hardly used, and collectible at that. Though I'm going to carry and use the hell out of it.
