First let me say thanks in advance. New here, I am an Auctioneer and run a Outdoor Sporting Goods Store. Not trying to sell anything. Have enough knowledge to make myself look real silly.

I just recived a set of five new condition in a coustom collectors case Giant Knives. They are all 11.5" long closed. All look just like the normal knives of the same collection. Only Bigger. I will post pics as soon as i can "no camera here today".

Has anyone ever herd of such a collection and do you feel it has any worth being to big for the pocket and to nice for much of anything else. The story I was feed was a local man Sporting store dealer form back in the day had paid a war pention for them and there was only 8 sets made. But you and I know they say alot of things. Most not as true as creative.

Again thanks and pics coming soon. Danny aka Tugnpull

....and may I be Fourthright?.......an ultra big Tang tamp means you cant hide an ultra Big 'China Made' if its there.... right?....Hoo Roo

I was wondering about that as well Larry, judging by Taylor's penchant for making extra large versions of his patterns. I've never heard nor seen any evidence of it myself. If I can remember I'll ask the guys tomorrow. I'd imagine it's also possible that Parker had them made elswhere, possibly at a later date, although I'm not sure how that could be proved. Was there any kind of paperwork with it Danny? (If you're still around?)

As Eric said....Danny?..if you're still around?....photos are always better than a thousand words....and we really would like to see them...they are a grand find if genuine....
Just as an aside to the other Forum members...do you all remember many moons ago the self professed former chief Honcho at Schrade Ireland right up to its demise.....made one post asking what we would like to know.....we all fell over ourselves filling a page of welcomes and questions...and then complete nothing.....and....all our questions remain with those planes and ships in the Bermuda Triangle....why?..how?...when?.where? and why do they do it to us.....?......have you ever imagined a world with no hypothetical situations?........?.....Hoo Roo....

lol I do remember the Ireland thread and remember it just as you do, Larry. I don't know why folks bother to post at all if they are never coming back but that's life.
