Trying to date and get an idea of value, collector,or will this just
be a good user it is a 31/4 closed barlow with fake orange bone
scales with fancy bolster great snap all ways stainless blades
at least thats what they act like

I believe that that particular barlow was pert of the Schrade line from about 1975 until the early 1980's. I also believe that it was made with carbon steel but I could be wrong. If it is used, the collector value would be nil but would be a good user. A mint example would have minimal collector interest, value maybe $30 max.

Thanks,
It was mint but somebody tried to sharpen it with sandpaper
no damage just scratches you are right about the carbon blades
the reason I thought it was stainless was because except for
scratches it looks like it just came out of the box 31/4
inch closed over 1/2 inch thick great walk and talk just buffed the scratches out after reading your post and sharpened it definately
carbon great user 2 bucs at yard sale sometimes you get lucky
Thanks again Mike
