Schrade USA 53OT Old Timer

I recently purchased a USA made Schrade 53OTG with Thumbscrew. This is my first 53OT. Anyone know in what years they were made and maybe how many were produced?

Hi from Australia,
The 55OTG and 53OTG Old Timers were only made in 2002 and 2003.
The retail price for the 55OTG was $43.95 and the 53OTG was $33.95.
I do not know the number made. However, I believe the 53OTG is a rare and un-common, collectable Schrade. Ken

Hi Ivr, Thank you for that information.
Although I had been collecting Schrade knives long before 2004; I went out of my way to collect anything made by Schrade, from 2000 until the close-down.
I have found the 55OTGs sell on eBay from time to time. However, the 53OTGs do not show up that often.
I wonder if they made the 53OTGs in 2003; to date I have not seen a 53OTG in a box, yet I have ten of the 55OTGs in their boxes.

I do have sell sheets from 2003 and the 53OTG is on it but I dont have any evidence that they sold any. Guess would be yes as they had some 4k of unfulfilled orders at the end of 2002.
I have 2 53OTG's neither came to me in a box. 1 did have a sheath probably added by the previous owner.

It looks like some sellers had a small amount of the 53OTGs. Do you have any more of the late Schrade knives.
I have been looking for an SQ111 for over eight years. Even the other SQ knives were hard to find... Ken
