I bought a bunch of knives and I have a 7-OT with finger grooves. I have looked and I can not find any with finger grooves so I am trying to determine a value. I am not asking what it is worth just info to help me research its value, such as age or style with the grooves. I have no clue on Schrade knives but there was several in the group i bought.
I buy old knives to clean up and sell so any help would be appreciated. Thank You

Eversion i will retype it to be more clear but what i am actually asking is any help on determining what the knife is, such as maybe year or anything about the finger grooves that will help me determine a value. I am not asking peoples opinion on value but that may be the way it reads. Sorry about that

The guys that hang out in the Schrade knives collectors sub Forum are most like to know the answers to your questions. I suggest you post your question there. I also suggest you don't even use the term value. Just ask when made, how many made, ect... I also suggest you post some pictures of your knife. Pictures always help when asking those kind of questions. Particularly good sharp pictures of the tang stamp, and any other stamp that might be on the knife. Information on how to post pictures can be found here. Imgur is suggested.

Aftermarket finger grooves.
From what I remember, and from the old catalogs I've seen, Schrade USA never offered finger grooves on the 5OT, 6OT, 7OT, LB7, or LB8.
Without the "Schrade +" on the tang stamp, your blade is 1095 carbon steel.

At your membership level, we cannot discuss value. You need a Gold or higher for that.

"SOLD" listings on ePrey can give you an idea. Iggy the highest and lowest prices.

I've never seen one like that. Is it possible someone modified it? Those are excellent knives, BTW.
