I have these 3 and the two “Schrade” ones have 881 on the tang. The Old Timer has 8OT.. I want an Uncle Henry to match. Does anyone know the pattern number for the Uncle Henry?

I had to google it and I'm pretty sure you're right.
I have the offshore Taylor made. My only "bad" offshore Schrade to date.
Main blade's pull is no less than "8.5" to "9.25". Spey and sheepsfoot are a semi-reasonable "~6".
I've flushed, scrubbed, and lubed the Main's pivot for hours, to no avail.
I don't see any reason to fight the knife to open it since I have "a few" other stockman (including a Old Timer offshore 858OT and 858OTB) with "5" or under (standard production Buck 301) pull on all the blades. My 885 lives in its box.
I might get an offshore 8OT someday ... wish they made a version with T10 or some other carbon steel.

Yep, you’re looking for the 885UH. But since you’re at the precipice of the rabbit hole why stop there? Grab the 89OT with a serrated sheep’s foot and the other twins made by Schrade too ;) Enabler out…

Not to hijack the thread, but will to ask about model numbers of the top three, right column.
Nice stockman collection.
Thanks
Rick

I have a Chinese version of the 89OT with the serrated sheepsfoot blade, and I like it a lot. As a bonus, along with the 89OT, I got a deck of cards with pictures of Schrade knives!

The 8OT is probably my favorite knife, just enamored with everything about it except the swindon key construction. I got my great grandpas 8OT when he passed, was in his pocket on that day. Have loved them since. Before that I had the Uncle Henry version of the 33OT, still do actually, and the smaller version of the 33OT, so already loved Schrade stockmen. That sawcut delrin really does it for me.

The China Schrades just look and feel different, I have tried to like them and own a few, got one in Buffalo horn that’s nice. Just doesn’t feel like the real thing with the thinly ground blades and such, and I can’t abide by the sawcut delrin used on the new ones, not when I love the old version so much.

Kindof rehashing this old photo, but what are those with the match strike long pulls? Are they Primble 935s?

None of mine are the Primble knives. Someone posted one recently that looked to be in pretty much unused condition if I’m remembering correctly.
